The Great Khali Has Only Extended Support For Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab

After reports suggested that Wrestler Dalip Singh Rana aka The Great Khali of WWE Fame has joined the Aam Aadmi party in Punjab, it has now emerged that Khali has only extended his support to a party candidate ahead of the 2017 assembly elections.

Khali who attended an event in the state along with other AAP leaders has given his unconditional support to Sajjan Singh Cheema who is the party candidate from Sultanpur Lodhi.

Rana who was a state police officer in Punjab prior to taking up professional wrestling became the World Heavyweight Champion in the year 2007 and has a huge fan following in the state.
Khali has appeared in a few Hollywood films and was also part of the reality TV show Big Boss.
Punjab will see a bitter three cornered contest between the Congress led by Amarinder Singh, the BJP-SAD combine of Parkash Singh Badal and Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi party which will venture out of Delhi for the first time.
